All Hallows Eve (Halloween), All Saints Day & All Souls Day

All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation - Catholic Holy Days of Obligation are the days on which the faithful are obliged to participate in the Mass. They have also abstain from unnecessary works, "which hinder the worship to be rendered to God, the joy proper to the Lord’s day, or the suitable relaxation of mind and body."


Below are basic explanations of the 3 days (All Hallow Tide) the Church celebrates to honor the saints and loved ones who have come before us.
